Audi A4 Sedan and Avant - US Pricing
Audi of America released today pricing for its newest entries, Audi A4 Avant and Sedan, 2009 model.
Audi A4 Sedan comes with 211hp (157kW) 2.0L TFSI engine and pricing from $32,700. Pricing for Audi A4 Avant starts at $34,500. Johan de Nysschen, executive vice president, Audi of America said: “The combination of efficiency, power, performance and design make the A4 the new segment standard … These are all-new models with added standard features versus the previous generation. And the A4, when equipped with the all-new 2.0TFSI engine and quattro all-wheel-drive system, delivers better fuel economy and acceleration than the key competitors in this segment.” An interesting fact is that in Germany pricing for new A4 Avant with 1.8T starts at €30,500 - $47,500. The vehicles will be available in U.S. starting from September.
The Audi A4 sedan can be equipped with either the all-new 2.0 TFSI 4-cylinder engine or the 3.2 FSI V6 engine. The 2.0 TFSI engine can be configured for front-wheel drive or with Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system. The 3.2 FSI is offered exclusively in the sedan and with the quattro all-wheel-drive system and a 6-speed Tiptronic transmission. The A4 Avant will be equipped with the 2.0 TFSI engine and the quattro all-wheel-drive system.
